Kathmandu, August 2026 — Nepal Distilleries Pvt. Ltd. (NDPL) has secured four major honours at the FLAME Awards Asia 2026, including two Gold awards, a Silver and the prestigious South Asia Grand Prix, marking a significant achievement for Nepali creativity and brand building on the regional stage.
The awards were presented at the FLAME Awards Asia 2026 ceremony in New Delhi, which recognised outstanding work in experiential marketing, activation, consumer engagement and innovation across South Asia.
The winning campaigns covered two of NDPL’s key brands, with Outreach Nepal serving as the creative agency behind the award-winning work.
The four recognitions include:
Gold – South Asia Emerging Market Campaign: Mero Khukri
Gold – Last-Mile Innovation, South Asia: Mero Khukri
South Asia Grand Prix: Nude “Just Be You”
Silver – Small Budget Campaign, South Asia: Pokhara Flash Mob
At the centre of the achievement was Mero Khukri, a campaign built around the deep-rooted connection consumers have shared with the brand across generations. The campaign transformed that connection into an expression of ownership and belonging, placing consumers at the centre of the brand narrative.
Its two Gold awards recognised both the strength of its consumer insight and its ability to translate a compelling brand idea into meaningful engagement and participation.
The night’s highest regional honour went to Nude’s “Just Be You” campaign, which received the South Asia Grand Prix. Built around individuality, authenticity and self-expression, the campaign demonstrated how a clear brand belief can be translated into bold and culturally relevant communication.
Meanwhile, the Pokhara Flash Mob won Silver in the Small Budget Campaign – South Asia category. The recognition highlights how strong local insights, creativity and efficient execution can generate significant impact without requiring a large investment.
Although the four awards came from different campaigns and categories, they shared a common foundation: a strong understanding of people, culture and consumer behaviour.
The recognition also highlights the creative partnership between Nepal Distilleries and Outreach Nepal, combining brand strategy, consumer insight, creativity and execution to develop campaigns rooted in Nepal while competing successfully at the regional level.
For Nepal Distilleries, the four awards represent more than an awards tally. They reinforce the potential of ideas developed in Nepal, inspired by Nepali consumers and executed with creativity and conviction to compete among leading work across South Asia.
The achievement marks a significant milestone for Nepali creativity, with two brands and three campaigns collectively earning four major recognitions at one of the region’s prominent awards platforms.
