Country’s Economic Indicators Positive: Prime Minister Oli

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the country’s economic indicators have shown positive trends during the first year of his government’s tenure. Taking to social media today, PM Oli highlighted the progress achieved in national development projects and improvements in public service delivery.

“As we approach one year since forming the government, the country’s economic indicators are looking positive, and major national development projects have gained momentum,” Prime Minister Oli wrote.

He emphasized that the culture of setting timelines and focusing on results has begun under his leadership—something he claimed was previously absent.

PM Oli also pointed out that several key laws have been amended over the past year to simplify service delivery for citizens. These reforms, he said, are shifting government processes from traditional queues to online systems.

“There is still much to be done, and the government is fully focused on those responsibilities,” he added.
